(These are just ramblings of my thoughts today.) I was just thinking, what does it mean to be real?

I have always prided myself on the fact that I am “real”, but the question is, what is “real”? What I might think of as fake might be real for someone else. Also, what I might consider “being real” might be fake for another.  So my question is, is there only one type of “real” or is it, like beauty, in the eye of the beholder.

The point is we need to stop judging someone for being “fake” because that might be their “real”.

Humans are fickle creatures- we change our minds. A lot. You are the only person you can completely depend on. Decide to be happy and before long, you will be.

     We may be discouraged by events in life, but we must never give up our hope in God’s promises to us. The turning point may be just ahead.

     A healthy fear of God will do much to deter us from sin. When we have a proper fear of the living Lord, we live a cleaner life. Any born-again person who sins willfully has momentarily blocked out his fear of God. You and I can do that. When we actively engage in sin, we consciously put aside what we know to be the truth about God. We suppress the knowledge of Him in our hearts and minds. 

     By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. 1 John 2:3
